Specialty classes and canine sports are an excellent way to expand training horizons for you and your dog. These courses build upon skills and commands taught in our puppy and adult dog obedience courses and provide an opportunity for you to build a strong relationship with your dog while having FUN!
*Please note that Intermediate Obedience is a prerequisite for our speciality courses.*

AgilityList Item 1
You've completed all your basic training and you want to keep going! Join our series of agility classes and continue on into ongoing practice sessions.
At Luv-A-K9 we have a series of 3 courses designed to teach you and your dog the equipment and develop handling skills.

Canine Good NeighbourList Item 2
The Canine Good Neighbour test is an official Canadian Kennel Club certification that may only be earned by successfully completing the test with a certified evaluator. The Canine Good Neighbour (CGN) course is intended for dogs who have completed previous levels of group training courses and are well-suited for therapy or community work.

Rally Obedience (Rally-O) is a great way to build your relationship with your dog while honing your skils in obedience! Our three courses in Rally Obedience focus on learning obedience exercises, focusing on precision, and building your dog's engagement with you as a handler. Scent DetectionList Item 4
Is your dog obsessed with sniffing? Scent Detection might just be their sport! This set of courses puts your dog's nose to the test and encourages them to exercise their natural instinct to sniff out a scent while teaching them to communicate with their handler once they have located the scent in question. Fun for dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds, this set of courses is a fan favourite!

Show Handling
Join our show handling class and learn how to show your own dog. Our course covers proper ring procedure and etiquette.

Trick Class
This fun course reviews the basics of clicker and positive, operant conditioning. You and your dog will learn and progress over 15 different tricks throughout the six weeks.
