Beginner ObedienceList Item 1
For dogs who have not previously attended a group course.
Teach basic obedience, verbal commands, and good leash walking so that your dog becomes a safe, happy, and responsive pet. Learn how to deal with behavioural problems like jumping up, hand biting, barking, chewing, and digging.
Course Length: 6 weeks (1 hour/week)
Course Cost: $180+HST

Intermediate ObedienceList Item 2
For dogs who have completed Beginner Obedience.
Continue your training journey and fine-tune your commands to teach your dog how to remain calm and attentive during everyday distractions, all while having fun! Dogs who graduate from Intermediate Obedience are eligible for our wide range of Specialty Courses.
Course Length: 6 weeks (1 hour/week)
Course Cost: $180+HST

Private Training Sessions
Not all dogs are ready for a group training environment, and that is OK! Our team is proud to offer 1-on-1 sessions for dogs who need a little extra time to work on their skills or are experiencing issues with extreme behaviours or aggression. Private Sessions are offered at one of our facilities or in the convenience of your home.

Duration: 1 hour
Cost: $100 + HST
Looking for additional practice time outside of class?
Self-Guided Practice Sessions
Open to dogs currently enrolled in class at Luv-A-K9 or those who have completed a course in the past 6 months, Self-Guided Practice Sessions support your learning with trainer-supported time to practice your skills. Bring yourself, your dog, and something you'd like to work on!
Every Thursday from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
EAST CAMPUS, #2 - 677 Innovation Drive, Kingston, Ontario
$20 + HST per session
*Drop-in format. No Pre-registration is required.
Please note that this session does not support training that requires equipment (agility equipment or Rally-O signs), however it is a great opportunity to work on the foundational skills and commands that support these activities.
